Game Report: Who Won Today’s IPL Match LSG vs SRH
The IPL match between Lucknow Super Giants vs Sunrisers Hyderabad happened at Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow. And today the pitch has totally supported the spinners and low pacers and the dryness of pitch made the bowl to get less on the bat which made it harder for the batter to hit the ball in a proper manner.Well Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and decided to bat first which happened first time in this season that the winning toss team chose to bat first. But they would also have thought about the slowness of pitch due to the dryness in the pitch and at 1st innings it can better to bat properly and hit a proper score to put up the target on the screen. But sadly, the results hasn’t been the same as they would have thought but the results were just opposite to it. As from the starting itself they starting to lose wickets in bunch and no batter was able to be on the pitch for more than a over against the spinners of Lucknow Super Giants. Like Amit Mishra showed his experience by taking the 2 wickets by giving 23 in 4 overs from ball, also he took a wonderful catch by diving. Then, Kunal Panday, today the Pandya got his luck and got 3 wickets as well by giving just 18 runs in 4 overs. Then comes the most intelligent and brilliant spinner of Lucknow Super Giants, Ravi Bishnoi who is holding the 4th position in Purple Cap Holders, took 1 wicket by giving 16 runs in 4 overs. These bowlers just took away the game from Sunrisers Hyderabad and Hyderabad could just score 121 runs out of losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. While Rahul Tripathi and Anmolpreet Singh tried to build a knock but in frustration to score runs first Tripathi gave his wicket and the Anmol.
In against to it, today KL Rahul performed good with bat where he provided a good start to Lucknow Super Giants by hitting some boundaries and proved that he is still in class and no one can take his class away from him. KL Rahul scored 35 runs in 31 balls also Krunal Pandya provided his contribution in batting as well by putting up 34 runs in just 23 balls. While Sunrisers bowlers also performed a good way. Adil Rasheed took 2 wickets by giving 23 runs in 3 overs. Also Bhuvneshwar Kumar took 1 wicket by giving 19 runs in 2 overs.
So overview of who won today’s IPL match is that the Lucknow Super Giants won the match by 5 wickets and they performed well in this match, no doubt in it. But still they should be working on their batting order more as after a time Lucknow was also losing it’s wicket in bunch. Besides Sunrisers Hyderabad has performed very bad today and they should definitely work on their batting order to get maximum out of the openers and not only from the tail enders.
