The powerplay got flowed with runs where Gaikwad and Conway made 17 in just 2 overs and 7 from first over of Krunal Pandya. And after 4 overs Chennai Super Kings were at 50 with the run rate of 11.14. Rituraj has been the great performer from the match as he scored run very faster and made 40 in just 18 balls. After the powerplay the score of CSK was 79 with the loss of 0 wicket. Again the next knock came and Gaikwad knocked 50 in just 25 balls, and 100 comes up for the team on scoreboard in just 8 overs.

Well then the balls got handed over to Ravi Bishnoi who is an intelligent baller and he made a breakthrough of the Gaikwad who was looking destructive on his first ball itself at 57. Then Krunal Panday made great efforts and got the catch of Conway at 47. After which Shivam Dubey comes into the ground and with no efforts starts hitting the sixes and four and again Ravi Bishnoi got Shivam Dubey by a googly and Mark Wook got his catch. Well in return, in the second innings of LSG batting they disappointed with their batting as they kept losing their wickets and failed to reach the target.
