2024 ICC T20 World Cup is here, and the stage is completely set for it. This time the countries which are hosting the international event are United States of America and West Indies jointly. As the USA is hosting World Cup for the first time, there will be a challenge for all the teams. Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium, Texas:
Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York
Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground,
Lauderhill, Florida
Providence Cricket Stadium, Guyana
Kensington Oval, Barbados
Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium, Antigua
Brian Lara Cricket Stadium, Trinidad
The Brian Lara Cricket Stadium in Trinidad is named
after the legendary cricketer Brian Lara and has a seating capacity of about
15,000 people. This pitch has a reputation for being sluggish. Although batting
is comparatively easy in the beginning, as the match goes on, the circumstances
get harder.
Arnos Vale Cricket Ground, St Vincent
With a seating capacity of 18,000, the Arnos Vale
Cricket Ground in St. Vincent is well-known for its difficult batsman
conditions. The pitch report suggests that it will be challenging to score a
lot of runs, since the average score in the first innings of Twenty20
Internationals is 144, suggesting that the surface will normally be low
scoring.
Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, St Lucia
Normally holding 13,000 spectators, the Darren Sammy
Cricket Stadium in St. Lucia will hold 20,000 for the World Cup. St. Lucia's
surface is considered to reward bowlers, especially spinners who use the old
ball, while fast bowlers typically give up more runs. Batsmen must exercise
caution early in their innings in order to make significant scores because they
frequently struggle against spin. As the match goes on, the pitch gets better,
thus winning the toss and choosing to bowl first makes sense.
